Heka UNIC Treatment Centre
The UNIC treatment centre enhances the whole dental experience to create a pleasant and relaxed environment for both the patient and the dentist.
The minimalist design hides the cables, water, and air lines within the anodised aluminium arm. The assistant’s unit features a telescopic arm that can be adjusted from two to four-handed treatment in seconds. And the patient's chair has been ergonomically designed with both the patient and the dentist's comfort in mind.
Balanced instruments
The UNIC has a narrow and elegant central delivery system with five instruments, which are placed in such a way that those used most frequently are positioned nearest to the user.
Even with side movements, the instruments are balanced so your hand does not need to bear the weight of the instruments. This helps to reduce fatigue and increase precision.
ASSISTANT ERGONOMICS
The assistant’s arm is designed with a telescopic arm that can be adjusted from two to four-handed treatment, or from right to left-handed in seconds. This flexibility also means that the suction can always be placed optimally, avoiding upper body twisting.
The UNIC is available with a camera, syringe, and/or curing light on the telescopic arm. Besides suction, there are two instrument positions available. This provides optimum possibilities for involving the assistant in the treatment.
UPHOLSTERY COLOURS AND TYPES
The Heka UNIC treatment centre is available in two upholstery types, each of which comes in a variety of colours.
Soft
The soft upholstery comes as standard and is available in nine different colours.
SuperSoft
The SuperSoft upholstery is available in four different colours and offers a more premium and comfortable finish. To see all available colour options download the brochure above.
Ergonomic Patient chair
The backrest is narrow at the top so that both the dentist and assistant can get close to the patient’s head, and sit in an ergonomically correct position. In addition, the backrest is thin so there is plenty of space for movement around the chair.
The patient chair can be raised to a suitably high position for increased ergonomics. It provides good opportunities for working in an upright position while also being adjustable to any point in between.
Intelligent display
The idea behind the intelligent display is to provide the dentist with only those pieces of information that are necessary for the task at hand.
As a result, the display changes depending on the type of work the dentist is doing. This makes it easier for the dentist to operate the display, decreasing the risk of making mistakes during treatment.
Balanced instruments
The dental treatment centre instruments are balanced so your hand does not need to bear the instrument’s weight or experience influence from external forces when you are performing precision work.Balanced dental treatment centre instruments reduce fatigue and increase your work’s precision.
Ergonomic unit arm
The UNIC arm has two impressive ergonomic benefits:
Double-articulated joint
This grants an exceptional range of movement, giving the dentist a wide range of possibilities when it comes to finding a place for the instrument tray.
Double-needle bearings
All moving joints in the unit arm are equipped with double-needle bearings. This helps the instrument bridge glide along smoothly and comfortably. The needle bearings are disproportionately sized, ensuring that the unit arm will continue moving with the same ease for many years to come.
Wireless foot controls
The unique patented round foot control can be activated from all directions with either the right or left foot releasing you from any fixed working posture.
The UNIC treatment centre can also be delivered with a conventional, variable foot control. All foot controls are available with wireless operation.
